Live Oak Gottesman

Steve Younkman is a Principal and Chief Financial Officer for Live Oak-Gottesman. He currently oversees a portfolio of over seven million square feet, owned by over one hundred different entities.

Steve began his career in 1975 in Columbus, Ohio as a Certified Public Accountant with Peat, Marwick & Mitchell. After a few years he moved to Dallas, Texas to work for Atlantic Richfield in their internal audit department where he earned his Certified Internal Auditor designation.

In 1982 he moved to Austin, Texas and after working as an independent real estate consultant he joined Live Oak Development, Inc. in July 1983.

At Live Oak, Steve served as the Chief Financial Officer responsible for all financial and accounting aspects of the company. In addition, he has been involved in every facet of the real estate business. This includes managing hundreds of lease transactions on behalf of landlords and tenants, handling numerous investment sales and acquisitions, financing and refinancing multi-million dollar loans and overseeing project management and development.
