Information About Brokerage Services
Scott Flack currently serves as President of Austin-based, Live Oak. In his role, he oversees the firm's investment & development activities and is responsible for the firm's strategic direction. Scott has been in commercial real estate since 2000 when he joined The Gottesman Company. In 2007, he was part of the formation of Live Oak-Gottesman when the Gottesman Co. merged with Live Oak Group and the Leasing and Property Management Divisions of Trammell Crow Company. He served as the Company's Director of Leasing until acquiring controlling interest in the company with three other partners in 2015.
A graduate of the University of Texas, Flack has served as the president of the Real Estate Council of Austin, was a board member with the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce and is an advisory member of The University of Texas Real Estate Finance & Investment Center. He has topped the Austin Business Journal's Heavy Hitters list multiple times for industrial leasing and remains active in brokerage as a member of the firm's industrial leasing team. Throughout his career, he has served on several non-profit boards and is current board chair for Back on My Feet – Austin and the Austin Area Research Organization's (AARO) Social Equity committee. Scott and his wife Kate are the proud parents of two daughters and a son.
